The programme aims to equip graduates with the knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills necessary for taking part in the design, implementation, management and security of modern computer systems. It will enable them to work as professionally-minded cyber security practitioners able to meet the responsibilities and challenges demanded in the cyber security industry.
By working in partnership with CompTIA, graduates of this programme will be offered the opportunity to achieve an additional professional IT certificate in either Cyber Security (CySA+) or Cloud Infrastructure (Cloud+).

Units comprise of weekly video lectures, tutorial exercises, discussion forums and live chat sessions with subject experts. Students will have the opportunity to interact with other students from around the world.
Students study five core units;
NCC Education has partnered with Immersive Labs to offer students the opportunity to gain hands on experience in tackling cybersecurity challenges using a cloud-based platform. This will be utilised by the Module Leaders to offer a greater depth of understanding to cyber security challenges faced by organisations.
With the relevant management experience, graduates of the programme are also eligible for entry onto the Level 7 Diploma in Business Management (L7DBM) awarded by NCC Education and now available online or face to face. Upon successful completion of the L7DBM, students are able to progress onto a number of MSc qualifications. Alternatively, graduates can continue their studies with the University of Central Lancashire by entering onto a number of related MSc programmes.
